OMG! Hi everyone! I can’t believe I have to write this so soon! This month is oooover! WHY?? It’s too soon!
Anyway, I’m here to do my October wrap-up, which, if you didn’t know, means that I’m telling you about the books I’ve managed to read this month! And…I’m not complaining, okay?? I’ve read so freaking many books this month! Plus I’ve also read A storm of swords which is over 1,000 pages, thus making it my longest book I’ve ever read, but I did it! It’s crazy! Anyway, let’s get to it!

This was my first book this month, I have a review about it on my Goodreads, which you can read if you click here. I ended up giving this book 3.5 but I kind of want to lower it to 3.
It wasn’t nearly as entertaining as Six of Crows, obviously I went into it with the highest expectations, and didn’t really get anything from it.
Kaz is one of my most hated characters, I don’t get the hype for him, I explained that in my review, too! I was super excited for the tv show, but after this I’m…not sure? Anyway, I’m gonna watch it, but with low expectations.

THIS WAS AMAZING! After Crooked Kingdom I kind of wanted something that’s not fantasy, so I thought I’d give this thriller a try and I’m so happy I did!
It takes place in Bristol, England, there’s kind of this older dude, Tom Fitzwilliam, everyone’s little obsessed with him, he’s great! We’ve got our main character, Joey, who’s gonna be living in her brother’s house with her husband, but she too is kind of obsessed with the guy. We also have two other POVs, Tom’s son and another girl, it’s really amazing, didn’t see the twists coming, if you’re into relationships in neighborhoods, where everyone has a secret. It was super entertaining, I wanna pick up something else from this author.

I did this I read horror books for a week challenge thingy and I put this on my tbr, so I read this first.
This thriller is pretty popular by now, I keep hearing about this, so I just started reading it after finishing Watching You, I was in a mood to read thriller, and it sounded great.
It’s basically about a seven-year-old Wen and her parents, Eric and Andrew who are out in the woods, camping, living their best lives, one day Wen is hanging outside and a stranger goes to her and is like ”the world’s ending and only you and your family can help us” and with this begins this messed up, weird apocalyptic book, it’s not really loved, but it’s loved by me! I gave it five stars, enjoyed it so much, I adored the ending! And even though it’s a thriller, I’d reread it right now.

My second book was this, it’s such a high rated book, everyone seems to love it, plus the synopsis sounded great, so I thought I’d read it. I wish I didn’t.
It follows this girl, Charlie, who reunites with her childhood friends on the anniversary of their friend’s death and they end up going to Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza which was her father’s and there are these weird dolls or something and they’re like…hunted or whatever, I thought this was going to scare the crap out of me, but it was just so freaking bad! I hated the characters so much, I hated all of the romantic relationships, couldn’t stand anything about this book, gave it a cute one star.

This was on my TBR, I knew I’d wanna read it, it’s Shaun David Hutchinson’s memoir, this the first memoir I’ve ever read and I’m just not that comfortable reviewing it, I just don’t know what to say, how could I review someone’s life? Anyway, I did a review, you can read it. Before picking this up, please read the trigger warnings.

I made this promise that I’m gonna read everything Maggie Stiefvater has published, because The Raven Cycle is one of my favorites, unfortunately I didn’t really enjoy it, I didn’t like the characters at all, I was really bored while reading it, but it’s fine, I still consider this author one of my favorites, still going to be reading her other books.

Boy, did I hate this crap of a book. Seriously, I did.
It’s basically about this woman who’s really struggling or something when she sees an ad where they’re looking for a nanny and they pay pretty well, so she gets the job and stuff happen and basically the child ends up dead.
But IT WAS HORRIBLE. It was boring, the characters were so stupid and bland, I wasn’t at all interested in anything that went down, it just was a stupid book.

This was such a sweet, cute little book that I just ate up, because I couldn’t help myself.
It’s about this boy, Oliver Cromwell, who’s pretty much normal, he and his friend are into scary stuff, hunting ghosts and such, one day Oliver goes to see his dad in the cemetery when he finds a ghost. Yikes. It was honestly super cute and amazing and I cannot wait for the second book to come out.

This was a reread for me, I really loved it the first time I read it, and I just wanted to read it again, so I know what’s up when I read the second book.
I’m pretty sure you guys already know what it is, everyone does. Read it.

I also read this book that I received from the author, it was super amazing, I wrote a whole review about this book, too, if you’d like to check it out, please do, because it was really good.

Last, but certainly not least I finished this amazing book!!
It’s the third book already and there are five so if everything goes according to plan, then I should be able to finish all of them this year, which would be super amazing.

But that’s all, thank you for reading, I’m super happy with what I managed to read this month and see you next time!

Spread some love
