I actually have zero clues where to start this.
Maybe I should tell you that I’m a 20 years old gay guy from Slovakia.
I’m 20 already! I used to think that 20-year-olds were like super adults who did adult things like going to the bank and stuff but not me! Oh, no, no!
I came out to my parents a couple of years ago, I believe I was 16 and they took it really great! My mom even said that she loves me even more.
I can’t help but feel a bit sad because of what other LGBTQ+ people might be going through, I do know that I’m the luckiest person ever to have been accepted and loved not despite of it but because of it.
I truly, with all my heard am hoping that you all will find happiness.
Back to my parents, they’re actually expecting me to bring a boyfriend home finally (their words) but dammit, family! It’s not that easy! My boyfriends are busy people.
But I will try contacting Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Dylan O’brien, Brendon Urie, Arón Piper, Rafael Miller, Matt Daddario…you get the idea.
Well, yeah! I’ll try to get them to come my parents, I’m just not sure if they’ll show up…
You should probably know, that I’m living in an apartment with my best friend, Zora, just because I would never ever dare to live alone because I’m genuinely afraid of every single thing on this planet, stuff like: ghosts and demons (THEY’RE NOT THE SAME!) spiders, bugs, snakes, burglars, mean people, I’m scared in the dark, I’m literally scared of everything you can think of and that’s why I can’t ever live alone because I’m scared!!! I mean I could probably get used to it, but still! I don’t even WANT to be alone, and I don’t know, it’s just better this way.
What else, let’s see…
My first ever book was Twilight and yeah, I know, I know it should’ve been Harry Potter but well it wasn’t. Life happens.
My favorite color is probably purple, I’m obsessed with Brendon Urie and his album, I literally wouldn’t be alive if I couldn’t listen to the whole album every single day at least 1-2.
My actual all-time favorite book EVER is The Ghost of Buxton Manor, I’m begging every single person ever to just read that book! I wanna see it on people’s TBRs, write reviews, I just want people to talk about it because it means so freaking much to me.
That’s the first book I ever reread and cried while reading.
This brings me to my next topic: rereading! I wanna start doing it! People have been saying that basically every book is better when reading it for the second time (or it gets better each time you reread it) so I’ll be starting to reread my favorite books.
What else, what else…
I watch a whooole lot of tv shows! I’ll be making posts about them too, telling you my favorites, I’m just gonna tell you real quick what’s my favorite right now: it’s Shameless! I’m actually like dying for the new season! Shameless has become my life and I’m not sad about it.
I’m a Hufflepuff! People say really mean things about us but I could care less! J. K. Rowling herself said in one of her interviews that everyone should aspire to be a Hufflepuff and I couldn’t agree more!
Even though I’m from Slovakia, my first language is Hungarian, it’s because I live right next to Hungary so here everyone speaks Hungarian.
I’m the only one in our family who speaks English.
Also fun fact: I literally cannot remember for the life of me actually learning english. It just happened.
I don’t know, I’m weird.
Oh, and also, I speak Slovak, Czech, the gypsy (romani) language and I can carry on a conversation in Spanish as well.
Next thing: for really serious reasons I had to drop out of school, reasons I’m not really ready and/or comfortable talking about just yet.
I dropped out a couple of years ago, but the good news is that I’ll be going back next year, which for me is a huge thing! I can’t wait to finally be back.
I’ll be attending school in Budapest, Hungary.
Well, I suppose that’s it, please excuse my writing, because as I’ve just mentioned english isn’t my first language, so I’m bound to make some mistakes. 🙂
I’m pretty sure I’ve covered everything, I’m mostly a boring person, yet I can’t not hope that you’ll be following my lame reviews. 🙂
